Titans Set to Begin Brian Callahan Era Against the Chicago Bears

A new era of football begins for both the Titans and Bears Sunday in their season opening match-up from Chicago.
The Titans feature a new head coach, while the Bears feature a hot-shot new quarterback.

Said quarterback Will Levis:”It’s great that it’s finally here. It’s great that it’s football season. It’s good to be back.”
Football is back baby.
But are the Titans back too?
After going 6-11 last year, Tennessee has a new coach and a ton of new players.
Said receiver Tyler Boyd:”I think we had about 40 new players join the team in the off-season in general. I think guys are anxious to get out there.”
Said defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons:”No one expects us to do anything. But I think the mindset we have in this locker room. We have enough. Everybody in our locker room believes it. We can compete with anybody in this league no matter who they have on their roster.”
The Titans Brian Callahan will make his N-F-L head coaching debut in his home-town.
Said Callahan:”They were a try and true Chicago family. Dad is from the Southside. Mom is from the Northside. They’re all Chicago. My dad is a die-hard. He watches every game. White Sox fan. (ohhh) It has been a really tough season for him.”
Oh the collective groan. The White Sox are on pace for the worst record in M-L-B history.
Maybe the Titans can make Bears rookie Q-B Caleb Williams look as bad as the White Sox.
Said Simmons:”At the end of the day he is the head of the snake. Once you stop him, you control the game.”
Said defensive back Chidobe Awuzie:”We’re treating him like he has been in the league 20 years. When you don’t treat them like that, that’s when they don’t look like a rookie.”
Titans don’t have a rookie Q-B, but they’ve got a second year Q-B in Will Levis, who is trying to prove he can be the man in Titans land.
Said Levis:”All the reps I have gotten the past few weeks. The studying that I have done. I’m looking forward to putting it on display.”
And Callahan can’t wait to see his guys put their football skills on display.
Said Callahan:”We don’t need anything spectacular. When a play comes to you make it. If your job is to block a guy, block him.”
