Tivoli Theatre Foundation celebrates a centennial milestone with annual gala
Tivoli CEO, Nick Wilkinson, joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to preview the annual gala with the centennial celebration of The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium and the kick off to the 2024-2025 Broadway season.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – It’s nearly time to pull back the curtains in the Tivoli Theatre Foundation’s annual gala which celebrates a massive milestone for their Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium.
While the Tivoli Theatre is under renovation, the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium holds many of Chattanooga’s show stopping performances during this time period. This year, the auditorium has reached its 100th birthday, and the Tivoli Theatre Foundation is commemorating the milestone with their annual gala.
The curtains go up on November 8 and it will feature a dinner, a live auction, and a concert from the talented country and blues performing artist, Charley Crockett.

Tickets and additional donations will go directly towards the Friends of the Tivoli Fund which aids in historical preservation of the theatres, quality educational programs for children, and the ability to bring the best entertainment shows to the Chattanooga area.

The promise of a heart-stopping, singing-in-your-seat show doesn’t stop there. The 2024-2025 Broadway season is right around the corner with Moulin Rouge! kicking off the season with a high note.
Moulin Rouge! performances run from October 22 to 27 with a total of 8 performances.
Thanks to all the handwork, dedication, and donations, the Tivoli Theatre Foundation is able to bring some of the best touring Broadway shows to the Chattanooga area. No longer will people need to travel to New York or Chicago to see any of these Tony award winning musicals.
