Tobin Davidson named Assistant Superintendent by Walker County Board of Education
LAFAYETTE, Ga. (WDEF) — On on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Walker County Board of Education voted unanimously to offer the position of Assistant Superintendent to Mr.
Tobin Davidson.
Mr. Davidson is a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and he attended Cleveland State Community College on a baseball, basketball, and academic scholarship.
Mr. Davidson began his teaching career in 1984 as a high school Math, Chemistry, and Physics teacher, as well as baseball, boys’ basketball, and cross-country coach, at his alma mater.
After 15 years, he transferred to Sale Creek Middle High School as a Science teacher, baseball coach, and boys’ and girls’ basketball coach.
After 10 years in the classroom, he was named Assistant Principal.
The following year, he was named Principal of Soddy-Daisy Middle School.
Three years later, Mr. Davidson accepted the Principalship at Sale Creek Middle High School, where he served for 11 years.
In August 2020, Mr. Davidson joined the Bulldog Family as an Assistant Principal at Rossville Middle School.
