Top Five Showdown Between Bama and LSU Likely to Decide SEC West Champion

Fourth ranked LSU has already beaten five ranked teams this season.
Saturday, they get a crack at the nation’s top team in Alabama, who head to the Bayou with the nation’s top offense. The winner of this annual rivalry will likely take the SEC West title.

Said LSU head coach Ed Orgeron:”The energy that is in the stadium is going to be something that we haven’t seen for a long time in Louisiana.”
Said Bama head coach Nick Saban:”There’s a lot of challenges here. We’ll find out a lot about who we are.”
Said Orgeron:”We’re going to have to play a complete game on defense to stop there run game, and they’re passing game. No one has done it yet. But if there is anybody that can do it, it is our defensive staff. I do believe in them.”
Said Saban:”This is the biggest most physical front that we have played against and very athletic at linebacker and in the perimeter and secondary.”
Said Orgeron:”This is a big man’s game. This game is always won in the trenches.”
Reporter:”LSU leads the nation right now with 14 interceptions. Tua yet to throw an interception so far this season. What would you like to see from your defense this week?”
Said Orgeron:”Lot more interceptions.” (laughs)
Reporter:”Will you elaborate a little bit on what kind of stamp Coach Orgeron has put on that program.”
Said Saban:”It’s pretty evident by the way they play. I think that the intangibles that this team plays with makes them a little bit different than the LSU teams that we have played in the past. I mean obviously his toughness is evident in every part of their team.”
Said Orgeron:”This team plays well when they are mad. I coach better when I’m mad. I like it. It’s good. We need to be that way.”
Reporter:”Would you like a gradual build up to game time or do you.”
Said Orgeron:”No. We are not going to explode until 7 central standard time.”
