Tracy City man arrested for arson in 2022 house fire
GRUNDY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Grundy County deputies recently arrested a Tracy City man for an arson that took place last year.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) first started investigating when the fire took place, on January 23, 2022.
The fire happened at a home in the 400 block of Q Switch Road in Tracy City.
TBI agents determined the fire was set intentionally.
They later determined 68-year-old Arthur Kenneth Nunley was responsible for setting the fire.
A Grundy County grand jury indicted Nunley on July 10.
Then sheriff’s office deputies arrested him on Thursday, July 13 and charged him with one count of arson.
Authorities then booked him into the Grundy County Jail.
