Traffic Concerns Factor in Notre Dame Decision to Move Game With Signal Mountain

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Notre Dame has announced they’re moving their home game with Signal Mountain on Friday to Ringgold’s stadium, which seats 4,500 more fans than Notre Dame’s venue.

Plus Notre Dame was worried about traffic near their school, since Baylor and McCallie will be playing just down the street from Notre Dame.
The Irish and Eagles played at Signal Mountain last year, on the same day McCallie was at Baylor.
Said Irish head coach Charles Fant,"Some of our fans said it took over an hour just to get past Baylor to our game. Half of our fans didn’t get there until halftime. We didn’t want that same thing to happen here also."
