Traffic stop leads to drug charges in DeKalb County
FORT PAYNE, Alabama (WDEF) — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says one man was arrested on drug charges on Friday after a traffic stop.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy observed a vehicle weaving on County Road 479 near Crossville.
The Sheriff’s Office says the deputy conducted a traffic stop and found 26 year-old Shane Curtis Walker of Albertville had a baggie of methamphetamine.
Officials say Walker was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Sheriff’s Office says there was also a juvenile in the vehicle who was released to parents.
