Speeding ticket leads to drug bust in Walker County
WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – Stopping a speeder on Georgia Highway 2 near McFarland Road led to the discovery of two pounds of methamphetamine ICE and $14,000 in cash.
That’s according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.
Walker County Sheriff’s Deputy Zach Simpson stopped 54-year-old Ronnie Lynn Moore of Ringgold for speeding.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of $100,000 worth of ice methamphetamine.
Moore’s passenger, his wife, 54-year-old Trina Denise Moore, was also arrested.
Both suspects have been charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana.
