Trash Pandas Use Three Run 8th Inning to Turn Back the Lookouts
(lookouts.com) The Chattanooga Lookouts surrendered three runs in the eighth inning en route to a 6-4 loss to the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
For the second straight game, the Lookouts fell down early, this time by allowing two runs in the opening frame. The team battled back with one in the second inning on a passed ball. Rocket City increased their lead to two in the top of the fifth, but Chattanooga tied the game up at three later that inning. In the fifth, the home team scored a run on a Yoel Yanqui double and the tying run on a Cedrola RBI hit.
An inning later, Quincy McAfee smoked an RBI single to plate Errol Robinson and to give the Lookouts the 4-3 lead.
In the eighth Rocket City roared back to take a 6-4 lead, fueled by a two-run single by Orlando Martinez.
In the loss, starter Dylan Baker only allowed two runs in three innings and Randy Wynne finished the game with a scoreless ninth.
