Trenton man injured from 40-foot fall at Little River Canyon

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WDEF) — A man from Trenton, Georgia was injured in a fall at Little River Canyon Falls Park over the weekend, according to DeKalb County authorities.

A 21-year-old man was walking at the top of the falls when he fell about 40 feet, according to officials.

Several first responders and law enforcement agencies responded to the scene.

After a bystander called for help, responders found the man on a rock ledge.

Responders then extricated the man from the top of the falls, according to officials.

A medical helicopter then transported him from the scene.

His identity has not been released, nor has his current condition.
