Trenton Pressing breaks ground on $10 million facility
TRENTON, Ga. (WDEF) — Trenton Pressing broke ground Thursday on a $10 million facility to expand its manufacturing. It will add 20 new jobs upon the expansion.
The facility will be 105,000 square-feet. It will also help the company expand its assembly services and increase their manufacturing capacity.
Construction should be completed by December of this year, according to the company.
They added that this expansion will allow them to better service their growth and meet manufacturing needs. Their clients include BMW, Club Car and ZF, among others.
Trenton Pressing bought out a “struggling” manufacturing company a little over two years ago, and turned it around. The company said this was possible through “a reorganization of management, technology and equipment upgrades, and personnel training.”
Trenton Pressing provides metal stamping, welding and assembly processes. It also provides warehousing and shipping.
It is located on North Industrial Boulevard in Dade County.
The company currently has 220 employees and will be adding 20 more with this facility.
“Trenton Pressing has been a great community partner since it began operations in our county in 2021,” said Dade County Executive Ted Rumley. “They have not only provided great jobs, but they have also supported our schools and the environment.”
