Triple A unveils ‘Tow to Go’ service
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Triple A says they are providing a free service this holiday season if you find yourself in a tricky situation.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. today, and lasting through January 2, 2024 they are offering the ‘Tow to Go’ program.
This program allows impaired drivers who need to get to another location within ten miles to request a free ride without endangering themselves or others.
Triple A says that this program has kept over 30-thousand drivers off the road over the past 25 years.
“If you find yourself faced with the decision of driving by yourself impaired, please put those keys down so we can get you home safely,” says spokesperson for the Auto Club Group, Megan Cooper.
They do ask that drivers make every effort to have a designated driver in place, and only use the Tow to Go program as a last resort.
