TSA Finds Loaded Gun At Chattanooga Airport
TSA agents found a loaded .45 pistol in a carry on bag this morning at the Chattanooga Airport.
And it’s a growing trend.
Today’s incident happened around eight this morning at a security checkpoint.
TSA officers alerted airport police, who took the bag and cited the passenger.
This is the 8th firearm confiscated this year in carry on bags at the airport.
That’s up 2 from last year already.
It is legal to transport guns, as long as they are unloaded, documented, in a case and in checked baggage.
But TSA reminds flyers to check their carry on bags before they hit the security checkpoints.
