TVA Leaders Part of New Nuclear Announcement in Washington

Washington, D.C. (Press Release) – Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) joined leaders from GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, Ontario Power Generation and Synthos Green Energy for an important announcement in Washington, D.C., about the future of new nuclear.

The TVA Board of Directors provided up to $200 million for TVA’s New Nuclear Program to examine advanced reactor technology options for potential, future deployment at the Clinch River Site and other potential site locations, supporting the clean energy system of the future.
