TVA lineworkers head to Flordia, assisting after Milton

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  TVA is heading down south to help with relief after Hurricane Milton swept over Florida.

TVA posted on Facebook that over 100 lineworkers and heavy equipment left this morning to help Duke Energy restore power to those affected by Milton.

TVA crew and a pair of TVA helicopters are already helping in Florida by helping assess the damage.
