TVA Maintains as Cold Settles in Chattanooga

TVA reports their grid survived another low temperature night.

They hit an early morning peak just under 33-thousand megawatts

That’s right at the top of their winter production ability, but below the records they set last week at 35-thousand.

But we have another cold blast coming this weekend.

Meanwhile, their repair crews are still working to restore lines in Tennessee and Mississippi.

They have eight high-voltage lines down in North Mississippi.
