TVFCU offers new interactive teller technology

Ringgold, GA (WDEF) – The Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union became the first credit union in this area to offer "Interactive Teller Technology" Thursday morning.

Members at the Ringgold branch can now connect to tellers working from the credit union’s administrative offices in downtown Chattanooga.

The interactive system allows the TVFCU to offer longer hours with the personalized service.

The video teller machines are located both inside and outside the building.

TVFCU Community Involvement Specialist Tammy Zumbrun said, "In addition to being able to use TVFCU live and the drive-though lanes, you can go inside and we have 4 more of these machines. You can walk up, touch the screen and be able to do any of the transactions you can normally do with a teller." 

The service will be offered from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but at present it’s just at the Ringgold branch.
