Two Cookeville men arrested following drug investigation

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Two Cookeville men have been taken into custody and charged following a drug investigation, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

They say agencies began investigating an online tip in January alleging illegal drug sales in the Cookeville area.

On February 17, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of East Broad Street.

They seized marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, THC cartridges, seven firearms, multiple rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and $40,000, the TBI says.

They say two men inside the residence at the time of the search warrant were arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail.

Anthony Alder is charged with:

  • One count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell Schedule I
  • One count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell Schedule II
  • One count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell Schedule VI
  • One count of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Dangerous Felony

Alder’s bond is $120,000.

Logan Richardson is charged with:

  • One count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell Schedule VI
  • One count of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Dangerous Felony

Richardson’s bond is $40,000.
