HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A house caught fire on Old Britain Circle in Chattanooga Monday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to this fire within minutes of another fire in Harrison, Tennessee. Both fires started around 4 p.m. on December 18.

Someone passing by noticed the smoke coming from the back of the house and called 911. Upon arrival, firefighters said the house was spreading toward the attic.

However, no one was home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries, the fire department said.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating to determine what caused the fire.

The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, Hamilton County EMS and Chattanooga Fire Department worked this fire.
