Two juveniles shot on Sharp Street Saturday
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A suspect in the shootings of two teenage boys was located and arrested in Henry County, Georgia.
29 year old Robert Earl Craig will be charged with two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
He is still in custody in Henry County. His charges thre are Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a schedule IV (Xanax), Felony Obstruction of an Officer, Tampering with Evidence Felony, and Giving False Name.
In Henry County, his bond amount is $21,900.00.
Craig is in custody in the Henry County Jail awaiting extradition to Hamilton County.
CPD says they value the partnerships they have with other law enforcement agencies and “thank Henry County Police Department for their work in apprehending this violent suspect.”
Previous Story: The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting involving two juveniles that happened Saturday afternoon.
The call came in around noon Saturday. Investigators determined the victims were shot as they were walking along the 2000 block of Sharp Street.
Officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.
One teen was transported in critical condition.
The other appears to have a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
