Two Tornadoes Strike Jackson County Friday

SECTION, Ala. (WDEF)- The National Weather Service in Huntsville has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Jackson County Friday afternoon.

Both tornadoes were rated as EF-1’s with estimated wind speeds of 95 miles an hour.

They both happened in succession near the communities of Section and Pisgah between 12:40 and 12:50 central time Friday afternoon.

No injuries were reported due to the tornadoes.
