MORE: Man dies after being hit by boat, TWRA says
HARRISON, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says 48-year-old man is dead after a tragic boating accident at the Harrison Bay State Park.
According to a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency spokesperson, preliminary investigation suggests the man was at the Chickamauga Lake getting ready to wake-board when he was hit by Momba Ski Boat’s propeller.
Wildlife and boating officers responded to the incident, and it’s believed the man was dead on arrival.
The man’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

Markham says the man is thought to be in his 40’s.

The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday evening.
TWRA is investigating.
