Tyner student arrested for making school threat, sheriff says

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested a Tyner Middle School student for making a threat.

The sheriff’s office arrested a juvenile student, who they say made a social media threat against a school faculty member.

It happened earlier this month in March, according to HCSO.

They add that the threatening post included images of the faculty member and several threats.

The sheriff’s office is charging the juvenile with communicating a threat concerning a school employee and civil rights intimidation.

The student has not been identified due to them being a juvenile.
