Unclaimed baggage center hosts Spring Fling for Spring Breakers

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WDEF) – For local shoppers, adventure seekers, road-trippers or for anyone looking for a unique travel destination this Spring Break, Unclaimed Baggage is hosting a “Spring Fling” for visitors March 18 and 19.

Unclaimed Baggage Center is a 40,000-square-foot store located in Scottsboro, Alabama that sells lost luggage items from airlines and other forms of travel.

UBC purchases unclaimed baggage from airlines only after an extensive and exhaustive 90-day search for their owners has been conducted and then provides a second life to items through its 40,000-square-feet retail store. UBC sorts, cleans, refurbishes and prices over 1 million unclaimed items each year.

The “Spring Fling” event will include trip giveaways, special Unclaimed Baggage Experiences, new featured foods at the café and a Southern makers mini-market, featuring works from local artists.
