Unscheduled flight to Nashville thanks to a drunken Saudi Arabian student
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – WTVF Newschannel 5 reports on an unscheduled landing Monday night in Nashville because of an unruly passenger.
It happened on a United Express flight from Cincinnati to Houston.
Witnesses say the passenger was drunk and unruly.
But many became concerned when he began speaking loudly in Arabic.
The pilot chose to land in Nashville to have him removed.
Police found him passed out in his seat.
The suspect later told them he had eight lemon drop shooters before getting on the plane.
He is a Saudi Arabian student at Texas Southern University.
