UPDATE: Attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault arrest

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police charged 37-year-old Leviticus Avery Thursday with the attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault of Kevin Green.

Avery was already in the Hamilton County Jail.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have a suspect in custody for an aggravated assault Wednesday on Moccasin Bend Road.

Police say the victim 38-year-old Kevin Green was hit in the head with an object.

He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

An arrest is pending.
