UPDATE: Dade School County bus hits woman in Trenton
TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – A 70-year-old Dade County woman remains in critical condition at a hospital after she was struck by a school bus Tuesday afternoon.
Police Chief Christy Smith identified the woman as Diane Hulgan of Wildwood.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 11 and State Road 136 in downtown Trenton.
There were no children on the bus and the driver was not hurt.
Investigators say Ms. Hulgan frequently walked through the downtown area and was well known in the community.

The mid-afternoon accident happened at the intersection of Highway 11 and State Road 136 in downtown Trenton.
School officials say the 70 year old woman walked in front of the bus as it was turning.
Police say she was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No children were on the bus at the time and the driver was not hurt.
