UPDATE: Dallas Bay bedroom fire
UPDATE: The homeowner called 9-1-1 at 9:45 p.m. to report that one of their bedrooms was on fire.
Firefighters saw heavy smoke coming from a bedroom window when they arrived.
Firefighters contained it to that bedroom.
There were no injuries, but damage is estimated at $15,000.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The homeowner didn’t have insurance.
The Red Cross is helping the family.
