UPDATE: Dalton runaway shoplifter caught
UPDATE: Dalton Police now have the suspect in custody.
Officials say 18-year-old Easton Turner was caught at the Mapco Station at the intersection of Shugart Road and Highway 41.
He faces a charge of a felony shoplifting for taking an iPhone from Walmart and probably more charges.

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Dalton Police are looking for an escaped suspect.
He was arrested for shoplifting.
The suspect was cuffed at the time he ran away.
He was last seen going into a wooded area behind the Shugart Road Home Depot between the store and I-75.
Both Dalton Police and Whitfield County Deputies are searching the area.
Officials say the suspect is about 5’10 with long brown hair and wearing a dark green shirt and dark shorts.
