UPDATE: East Ridge fatal hit and run victim identified

East Ridge, TN (WDEF) – East Ridge Police identify the victim in last Friday’s fatal hit and run as 51-year-old Darryl Carter.

Police continue to look for the driver of a 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra with damage to the front.

It happened on Ringgold Road at Blackhawk Trail on Christmas night.

Officials say Carter was crossing the street and was hit.

They recovered parts of the vehicle at the scene.
