LATEST: Chattanooga Police identify the victim as 37-year-old Monica McMillon.

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police say the shooting victim has passed away.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police were called to Highland Avenue Tuesday night for a shooting.

One person was taken to the hospital.

Emergency personnel said over the scanners that the victim was shot in the leg and chest.

No word of their condition.

Police are on the scene investigating and talking to witnesses.

Officials say they have no suspect information at this time.
