Update on Tennessee State Campus Shooting

Nashville (WDEF) – Nashville police continue to look for a suspect in a fatal shooting at Tennessee State University on Thursday night.

One person was killed and three others injured.

They have not released the identities of the victims yet, but they are giving some details about them.

Officials say the fatality is a 19-year old male who was not believed to be a student.

The three other victims were female teenage students who were not seriously injured, in fact one was not even taken to the hospital.

Police say the incident started at a campus gathering where two non students were involved in gambling.

They got into a fight and exchanged gunfire.

The three girls were innocent bystanders.

The campus was locked down during the evening, but has now returned to normal operations.
