– Chattanooga Women’s Basketball added another important piece to its roster for next season, signing forward TaTianna Stovall from Kennesaw State. An incoming sophomore, Stovall is a local product, having played at nearby Bradley Central High School in Cleveland.

At Kennesaw State, Stovall played in all 30 games during the 2025-26 season, making seven starts for the Owls. In her lone season there, she averaged 6.8 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. Additionally, she led the Owls in block with 46 on the season, including a career-high six in a road game at Georgia State. She scored in double figures in six games, including a career-high 20 points to go along with a career-high 12 rebounds for a double-double against Life (Ga.). Her second-highest scoring game came in the Conference USA Tournament, putting up 17 points against Delaware.

“TaTianna is one of the first players I recruited when I came to Chattanooga and I am so excited to finally get the opportunity to coach her,” said Head Coach Deandra Schirmer.

During her high school career, Stovall, who is listed at six-foot-one, was a four-time state champion, and a two-time All-State player. She played at both The Webb School and Bradley Central across her four years of high school. During the 2022 season, she was named the TSSAA State Tournament MVP while playing for Bradley Central.

“She is a proven winner and a local legend with many championships won during her high school career,” Schirmer said. “She is a coach’s daughter and that has created the perfect combination of high basketball IQ and an outstanding work ethic. I am looking forward to TaTianna joining our team to help bring more championships to the 423.”

Stovall was an All-Region and All-District player in 2024. Additionally, she was selected to the All-PGH Preseason First Team, Preseason 70 by Major Movez Media, and Tennessee’s Most Versatile ’25s in 2023. She played AAU ball with B.Maze Elite and TN Flight prior to attending Kennesaw State.

TaTianna’s parents are Tia Stovall and Santana Seay, and she has two siblings, Tyrese and Ray. Tia is on the Women’s Basketball coaching staff at Bradley Central. Tyrese is on the Men’s Basketball team at Walters State Community College.
