UTC breaks ground on business school expansion
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- UTC will soon be expanding their offerings for business students.
The groundbreaking for the expansion of the Gary W. Rollins College of Business was held Monday morning.

A group of representatives breaking ground on the expansion to the UTC Gary W. Rollins Business School.
This will double the size of that college.
The new building will have new classrooms, labs, and create new partnerships with area businesses to further integrate UTC students with our local business community.
Interim Chancellor Robert Dooley, who also serves as the dean of the business school, said, “This expansion is really going to expand the college and help us even more prepare students for the workforce development needs of the region and the city, it’s just transformational in its impact. It’s going to ensure that we provide high quality business education for years to come.”
The $98 million expansion is expected to be completed in the spring of 2027.
