UTC collaborates with Volkswagen for annual career day

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – UTC hosted its first Volkswagen Drive Your Career Day on Thursday.  

The event took place at the Chattanooga Room on the Campus of UTC. 

UTC and VW held this event to engage engineering students with career opportunities and internships. 

VW representatives said they hope to provide essential resources for UTC students. 

“The first thing is to reach out to students and actually give them an understanding of what Volkswagen can offer,” said Chris Glover, CEO and President Volkswagen of Chattanooga. “I personally, for instance, had a wonderful international career with VW. It is lovely to share those kinds of stories between our professionals, specialists, engineers and potential students who would want to come and work for our company.” 

VW also allowed the students to view their latest ID 4 vehicle models.
