UTC sets new enrollment record with over 12,000 students
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) has announced a record set for fall enrollment.
UTC reported an official enrollment of 12,060 students.
The university says this is the largest in school history.
The number includes 10,396 undergraduate students and a record 1,664 graduate students.
The previous record was 11,775 in the fall of 2024.
“UTC’s 2025 enrollment of 12,060 students marks a significant milestone on our path to 15,000 by 2030. But this isn’t just about numbers. More and more students from across Tennessee, around the country—and even internationally—are choosing UTC because of the value of our degrees, the strength of our academic programs, the rich campus life and the opportunities to launch successful careers right here in Chattanooga.”
