UTC Women Ready to Face ‘The People’s Team’ in NCAA Tournament

Mississippi State women’s basketball coach Vic Schaefer is pulling out all the stops for the Bulldogs NCAA tournament game against Chattanooga Friday in Starkville.
Since the game starts at 2:30, Schaefer is asking local businesses to close at noon, so fans can attend the game.
Schaefer also dubbed the Bulldogs, ‘The People’s Team’.
Mocs center Jasmine Joyner kind of likes the idea of facing ‘The People’s Team’.
Said Joyner-“Basically, we just have to play our best game against ‘The People’s Team.’ Like I say, we’re a ‘People’s Team’ too from Chattanooga with how much we help the community and things like that. Guess it’s ‘The People’s Team’ versus ‘The People’s Team’.”
I guess so. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
