VA Clinic reopens after small fire

UPDATE:

The Chattanooga Fire Department reports one employee was injured in the fire.  It began in the X-ray room, but was already put out by the time they got there.

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System Chattanooga VA Clinic was evacuated this afternoon because of a small fire.

It happened in the radiology department.

After the fire department inspected the building, the clinic reopened around 2 PM.

Only radiology appointments have been affected.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
