Vehicle flips over at the Hamilton Co., Meigs Co. line

BIRCHWOOD, Tennessee (WDEF) – Both Hamilton and Meigs County personnel responded to a morning crash on the county line.

It started with an OnStar call around 7:15 AM on Highway 60.

But first responders weren’t sure which side of the county line the vehicle was.

They found a vehicle had left the highway, hit a power pole, ran down a bank and flipped.

The driver was freed from the wreck and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Eventually, crews decided it happened on the Hamilton County side of the line.

They ware investigating how the wreck actually happened.
