Veteran Calhoun Football Coach Hal Lamb Retires
Long time Calhoun head football coach Hal Lamb announced his retirement during a press conference at the school on Thursday. Assistant Clay Stephenson will take over the reigns of the highly successful program. Lamb coached Calhoun for 21 seasons, posting a Nick Saban like record of 233 wins and only 37 losses. He also won three state titles. The school announced that the field at Calhoun’s Phil Reeve stadium will be named in honor of Hal Lamb.
