Victim seriously wounded in Kankus shooting Tuesday night

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police describe the wounds suffered in a Brainerd shooting Tuesday night as life-threatening.

He was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle.

The victim was shot at the Kankus Express at 3604 Brainerd Road at the Germantown intersection.

It happened around 9:30 PM.

Police are not releasing any suspect information at this point.
