Victim suffers life threatening injuries following Brainerd Road shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting Sunday evening.

Upon arrival, police located a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

He was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment from 5505 Brainerd Road.

Police were told the victim was shot following an altercation with another person.

They are actively working to develop additional details.

No arrests have been made, and this is an on-going investigation.
