‘Vintage Market Days’ hosted in heart of downtown Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Convention Center was filled with many events over the weekend.
Vintage Market Days invited a variety of vendors and guests in support of small businesses.
80 vendors were present at Vintage Market Days: selling true antiques, handmade gifts, and boutique fashions.
Organizers partnered with the Chattanooga Tourism council who helped make the event accessible to the Chattanooga Metro.
“You’ll see its impact immediately in tax dollars. And all of us here are small businesses, the organization included. My mom and I are the organizers for this event. So when you come and you shop at Vintage Market Days, you’re supporting 80+ small businesses,” Owner/Promoter of Vintage Market Days Rebekah Stewart said.
The event saw many vendors along with customers from Oct. 6-8 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
“There’s literally everything here. We say we are a one-stop shop for holiday shopping,” Stewart added.
Vendors sold everything from genuine leather and hide, to handcrafted decorations.
Stewart looks forward to seeing the overall community impact from the event and their upcoming event at the end of April.
“I just know personally that this has been such a blessing to me, and I’m so thankful to the Chattanooga community. Like I said, my mom and I own this, and I am a new mom. And I get to have a career and I get to be a stay at home mom. So I get to have the best of both,” Stewart said.
The owner said to make note of the next event called, ‘Let’s Go Girls’ that will be hosted from April 24-26 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
