Virnig Manufacturing to open plant in Pikeville

PIKEVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Tennessee announces that a company based in Minnesota plans to expand their operations to Pikeville.

Virnig Manufacturing is promising more than 74 new jobs for Bledsoe County.

The plant will fabricate, weld, paint, assemble and ship products to its
customers.

They hope to open the plant in the first quarter of next year.

Gov. Bill Lee has made rural investment a priority of his administration.

“I greatly appreciate Virnig Manufacturing for selecting Pikeville as the site for its newest manufacturing operations. Job creation in rural Tennessee is a top priority for our state, and these jobs will positively impact the Pikeville community for years to come.”

The family-owned business is happy to be moving south.
