Voices for a Safer TN: Building Common Ground for Responsible Gun Ownership and Safety
In Tennessee, keeping communities safe is more important than ever.
The group Voices for a Safer Tennessee is leading the charge to ensure responsible gun ownership and reduce violence across the state.
In 20-24, the group played a key role in helping pass some of Tennessee’s first firearm safety policies in nearly a decade.
“Safer TN does not want to take anyone’s firearms. Many of our coalition members are gun owners. We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, and we are all coming together because we believe we can find common ground on this issue. We can both honor the rights of responsible gun owners while also increasing education, awareness, and policies that will reduce some of the firearm tragedies we experience in our state,” said Jessica Jaglois, Director of Communications for Voices for a Safer TN.
Through education, the group says it’s making a difference in reducing gun violence and promoting safe gun practices.
