Vols Avoid Discussing Florida’s 10 Game Winning Streak Over Tennessee
Tennessee will try to end Florida’s 10-game winning streak against the Vols this weekend.
But apparently UT players and coaches were unaware of the elephant in the room because they did not want to say a word about the streak.
Said head coach Butch Jones,"Before you want to talk about this as the most important game, it’s not the most important game. It is the most important game in terms that it’s the next game."

Reporter-"Is there a mental hurdle to overcome or is this just the next game on the schedule?"
Said quarterback Josh Dobbs-"It’s just the next game on the schedule. Every game is important. Just like last week and the week before was important. You have to come out ready to play each and every Saturday because each and every Saturday is a season within itself."
Reporter-"You know all too well about the streak. Is it something the players bring up amongst themselves or the leaders bring up at all as you head down to Florida?"
Said safety Todd Kelly, Jr-"Not really. Our main concern is just focusing on now like practice today and about looking forward to this week. Not really looking at the past. It’s a new team."
Reporter-"How much have you talked about the streak or do you bring it up?"
Said Jones,"Well first of all, 12 individuals were on the travel roster that went to Florida. That’s for you guys to talk about all week long. What matters is about our preperation."
Reporter-"What would it mean to finally get one in this rivalry?"
Said defensive back Cam Sutton,"Again like I said, it’s another road test for us. Our first really road test of the year. It’s another week and another opportunity to play the game that we love."
Added Jones,"Does this game mean a lot to a lot of individuals? Absolutely. But again, everything is about our preperation. Everything is about our approach."
Tennessee and Florida kick at 3:30pm, and it will be televised on WDEF News 12.
