Vols Football Season Tickets Sold Out For Fourth Straight Year
(utsports.com) – Season tickets for the 2026 Tennessee football season are sold out with all 70,500 purchased, marking a record fourth consecutive year that the Volunteers’ inventory has been exhausted.
It also represents back-to-back years that the department produced a season ticket renewal rate of over 97 percent. Interest in Tennessee football continues at an all-time high with a current season ticket interest list of 29,414 as of April 28.
“We often talk about how Vol Nation sets us apart, and this is yet another remarkable testament to that,” said Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Danny White. “Four consecutive seasons of selling out more than 70,000 season tickets is further proof that the best fans in all of sports are on Rocky Top. We can’t wait to feel the Neyland Effect this fall!”
Rise Glorious, Tennessee Athletics’ comprehensive strategic plan, unveiled ambitious season-ticket benchmarks through the 2026-27 athletic year. The initiative’s initial goal of 70,000 season tickets sold was slated for 2026-27, but Vol Nation has now eclipsed that mark four straight years beginning with the 2023-24 athletic year.
The upcoming 130th season of Tennessee football will see the Vols carry a streak of 27 consecutive Neyland Stadium sellouts into the Furman opener on Sept. 5. The SEC’s new, nine-game conference schedule will feature a rare five SEC matchups in Neyland Stadium — Texas (Sept. 26), Auburn (Oct. 3), Alabama (Oct. 17), Kentucky (Nov. 7) and LSU (Nov. 21).
Last season, Tennessee drew a combined 713,405 fans in Neyland Stadium for the third straight year, which ranked fourth in the FBS and second in the SEC. UT’s average attendance of 101,915 was sixth in the nation and third in the conference. More than 3.5 million fans have attended games in the historic venue since Josh Heupel‘s first season of 2021.
