Vols Guard Zakai Zeigler Out For the Year With a Knee Injury

Vols starting point guard Zakai Zeigler went down with a leg injury early in the game on Tuesday night against Arkansas. Tennessee announced on Wednesday that Zeigler suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, and he’ll be out for the year. That means the Vols will have to carry on in the upcoming SEC and NCAA tournaments without their starting point guard. Zeigler averaged nearly eleven points a game, and he was leading the SEC in assists with just over five a contest. Tennessee closes out their regular season on Saturday against Auburn.
