Vols Hope DL Shy Tuttle Might Be Ready For Season Opener

Shy Tuttle started on the Vols defensive line last year as a true freshman, but his season was cut short against Georgia when he suffered a broken leg and ankle ligament damage.
Getting him back would be huge for Tennessee, but Coach Jones doesn’t know yet if Tuttle will be ready for the season opener.
Said head coach Butch Jones,”Shy continues to be a work in progress. Again, is he game ready yet? We’ll see. He’s not game ready right now, but we don’t play for nine days. So he still has a lot of time, but he has made progress.”
