Vols Kick Off Spring Practice With Deeper Roster

Tennessee racked up eleven wins on the gridiron last season for the first time since 2001. Has to give the guys some confidence, as they opened spring drills on Monday. But perhaps the biggest confidence boost, at least for head coach Coach Heupel, is a deeper roster.

Said Heupel:”You walk out there. YOu can see the difference in depth really at every position. The new guys. The young guys that we’ve added. Length. Athleticism. Size on the offensve and defensive lines. Much deeper than we’ve been at skill spots. The same thing.”
